Scottsboro High School Announces 2nd Annual Military Signing Day

In partnership with Scottsboro High School and Jackson Co Schools, VMPJC will host proud the 2nd Annual Military Signing Day, a ceremony honoring students who have committed to serving in the United States Armed Forces. This event recognizes their dedication, courage, and decision to step forward in service to the nation.
A reception hosted by the veterans VFW Post 6073 and their Auxiliary will begin at 4:30 PM at the Veterans Post Hall. The official signing ceremony will follow at 5:30 PM at Veterans Memorial Park of Jackson County, located next door to the post.
Last year’s inaugural event was a tremendous success, and this year Scottsboro High School is expanding the celebration through a new partnership with Jackson County Schools. This collaboration allows both school systems to jointly honor an even larger group of future service members as they take this important step in their lives.
